The Georgia Military College Milledgeville Campus announces the immediate opening for a Deputy Director, Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, this position is responsible for aiding the Financial Aid Director in the administration of all financial aid programs for the institution. The Deputy Director is to lead all Financial Aid Processing teams and conduct quality assurance measures throughout the entire department to identify departmental and institutional training needs. This position is also the lead administrator for the Financial Aid Annual Setup processes, CampusLogic and Ellucian Self-Service programs, and Federal, State, Institutional, and Foundation programs (including Title IV and State Errors). The Deputy Director is a resource and contact for the GMC Main Campus, GMC Satellite Campuses, and the Global Online Leadership College.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in Federal Reporting (IPEDS, FISAP, Title IV Applications)
- Assists in developing and monitoring of the department’s operational budget and Cost of Attendance
- Leads and supervises all Financial Aid Specialists and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid office
- The lead administrator for Financial Aid Annual Setup processes, CampusLogic and Ellucian Self-Service programs and Federal, State, Institutional, and Foundation programs (including Title IV and State Errors)
- Assists in the development, implementation and adherence to departmental guidelines
- Conducts quality assurance audits of financial aid processing to identify departmental and institutional training needs
- Attends training conferences and seminars
- Performs the duties of the Financial Aid Director in his/her absence

Qualifications
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 7 to 10 years of direct financial aid experience
- 5 years of Financial Aid Experience
- Microsoft Office, Ellucian, ImageNow, Outlook. Leadership experience in managing teams and having supervisory responsibilities
Preferred:
- 7 years, with proven ability to perform and advance in the financial aid office
- Microsoft Office, Ellucian, ImageNow, Outlook, CampusLogic, Financial Aid TV, GA Futures. Leadership experience in managing teams, having supervisory responsibilities, and managing departmental budgets
