Financial Accounting
Job Summary
Examine, analyze, prepare, or enter financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Coordinate customer billing, accounts receivable and other accounting functions. Review and monitor data to ensure consistency and accuracy. Develop reporting and analysis to ensure profitability.
Responsibilities
- Prepare client invoices for deposits and final payments
- Process client payments
- Resolve billing discrepancies
- Monitor outstanding invoices
- Assist in determining costs of projects
- Keep Supervisor apprised of current divisional financial status by preparing accurate reports
- Implement processing forms and procedures
- Keep staff updated on all changes to procedures
- Audit files to ensure forms and costs are correct and consistent
- Research and make recommendations for strategic change as needed
- Evaluate facility expenses and make recommendations to cut costs
- Enter revenue and expenses into reporting system
- Forecast future revenue and expenses
- Support accounting for assigned campuses
- Prepare financial reporting contrasting for month-end and year-end
- Prepare daily deposits for transmittal
- Manage customer billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and other accounting functions
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience in accounting
Proposed Salary
$ 17.26 - $ 20.58
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.

- Ability to communicate financial data to supervisors, clients and non-accounting clients

- Working knowledge of accounting procedures and principles and computerized systems
