What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admin Assistant 1 position at Georgia state government?
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, performs a wide range of office administration duties for assigned functions or program areas, duties may be complex in nature and may involve access to confidential information. May research, investigate, and/or resolve program data or issues. Drafts documentation, reports, or presentations. Represents program or unit, provides information and assistance to internal and external customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise an assigned caseload of inactive status case (i.e., Admin, Contact, ICOTS, Warrants, Upcoming Releases, etc.) that require periodic reviews
- Assist Court Specialist, or other staff, with Court duties
- Assist in performing initial intakes for new or transfer in cases for the Circuit
- Prepare and present Pre-Sentence Investigations for the Court when ordered
- Assist sworn staff with making video and telephone contacts where appropriate, as well as Face to Face interactions in an office setting
- Attain and maintain GCIC Certification Assist in other administrative areas where directed by the Chief Community Supervision Officer of the Circuit
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university OR Two years of related experience.
