Job Summary
Provide executive administrative management to Georgia Tech or Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) executives. Duties include office organization, communications, and event management. Manage activities to ensure a well-executed, highly complex schedule of daily activities. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.
This position will interact on a regular basis with: External visitors to the office, including senior industry leaders and sponsors; Georgia Tech/GTRI executives; alumni; corporate executives; donors; Regents and representatives of the Board of Regents; government officials; faculty, staff, and students.
This position typically will advise and counsel: Executive staff
This position will supervise: May supervise assigned staff
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Manage and direct all office administrative operations
Job Duty 2 -
Oversee and manage agenda and planning/coordination for meetings, conferences, and events
Job Duty 3 -
Serve as primary scheduling contact with the GTRI, campus, and external communities on the behalf of the Executive
Job Duty 4 -
Manage the daily activities of the Executive including their calendar, and advise and prepare them as appropriate regarding upcoming appointments, meetings, travel, events, etc.
Job Duty 5 -
Track and report status on major initiatives and special assignments, including assignments and tasking for senior leaders assigned to Executive
Job Duty 6 -
Process office invoices, including reconciling all charges
Job Duty 7 -
Compile information and other documentation required by the Executive; complete, submit travel authority requests; and oversee the preparation of reimbursement statements
Job Duty 8 -
Act as delegated authority in some matters of significance on behalf of the Executive
Job Duty 9 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
