Location: Rincon, GA plant; must be able to relocate. This is an onsite role without remote or hybrid options.
Job Description:
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production operations in the winding area of our manufacturing plant. This role entails managing the utilization of equipment, tooling, and other facilities to ensure efficient production processes while maintaining high safety standards and minimizing waste.
Responsibilities:
- Production Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of the production processes in the winding area to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Equipment Utilization: Manage the use of equipment, tooling, and facilities, optimizing them for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Process Control: Implement and ensure adherence to process control methods to maintain consistent quality and operational standards.
- Training and Retention: Manage the training and retention of employees, ensuring a skilled workforce and reducing turnover rates.
- Safety Management: Ensure the safety of all personnel and equipment by enforcing strict safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.
- Waste Control: Monitor and control waste within the production area to ensure sustainable and cost-effective practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of production experience, preferably in an assembly shop environment.
- Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry-standard process control techniques.
