What You Will Do
The People & Talent Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and HR policy implementation. This internship offers the opportunity to learn about HR functions within a real-world corporate environment. This is a rotational role where you will shadow and contribute to generalists, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and participating in candidate interviews. Support new employee onboarding and orientation.
Employee Relations: Provide support for employee relations matters, including documentation, communication, and follow-up. Assist in resolving employee inquiries and concerns.
HR Administration: Assist in maintaining HR records, including personnel files and databases. Help with the organization and filing of HR-related documents.
Policy Implementation: Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and programs. Ensure compliance with HR regulations.
Benefits Administration: Support benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries. Assist employees with benefit-related questions and provide information about available benefits.
Training and Development: Participate in the coordination of training and development initiatives for employees. Assist in organizing training sessions and tracking employee training records.
Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, events, and recognition programs.
HR Projects: Assist the HR team in special projects and initiatives, which may include HR research, process improvement, or HR analytics.
Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive HR information.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. We also invite active members of the military who are eligible for the SkillBridge Program.
- Expected graduation of Winter 2024 or Summer 2025. For service members, they should be ending their active service by Summer 2025.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
This is an on-site role at our corporate headquarter in Denver, Colorado. This is a hybrid role with reporting to the office three days, and remote two days per week.
