What you will do
A great office administrator can make all the difference in the ease with which your company runs. We are looking for a friendly, informative, and welcoming admin to join our fast-growing company. While handling daily responsibilities with efficiency and ease, you will serve as the first impression of GEP.
Responsibilities
In this role your duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
- Ensure all entry and exit points are closed with access only to GEP employees and guests
- Make introductions and connect visitors with necessary POC
- Answer phones in a professional manner, and route calls as necessary
- Answer emails and correspond as needed
- Receive and ship packages and mail, sort and distribute to correct parties
- Set up, break down, organize and maintain rooms for conferences, meetings and trainings
- Order grocery and office supplies
- Keep supply closet, refrigerator and pantry stocked, and prepare coffee on both office floors
- Assist in preparation of company events, order catering
- Make travel arrangements, arrange for rental cars, and maintain company provided cell phones
- Support executives and colleagues when needed and perform ad-hoc administrative duties
- Be in-office 5 days per week
What you should bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior receptionist or customer service (or related field) experience
- Contribute positively as part of a team, help out with various tasks as required
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Agile and highly organized multitasker, who works well in a fast-paced environment and is able to pivot as necessary
- Excellent time management, and written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and to grow within the company
- Valid US drivers license
