Automation Technician – Charlotte, NC

You Have:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Three years of writing PLC & HMI code from scratch, designing, installing, and servicing complex closed-loop and electromechanical control systems and robotics a must.
Industrial experience with diagnostic and digital equipment.
Experience working with Allen Bradley and VFD’s.
An understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, FluidC, electrical systems, computers, and networks.
People skills required to work with supervisors, engineers, maintenance, and production operators.
Ability to work a normal day time shift, Monday- Friday, 4/10 hr or 5/8 hr shift with occasional overtime.

Your Work:
You will plan, layout, and perform all operations required to install, troubleshoot, repair, construct, modify, calibrate, test, service, and program highly complex closed-loop, secondary distribution centers and digital electronic equipment in support of steel production, operation, and related plant facilities.
