What You’ll Do:

• The Daily Grind – You will be responsible for management of the secondary market function. Your oversight includes the processing and reconciliation of all hedging reports, including risk management reports and DataMart reports.  You are responsible for monitoring trade activities, loan level monitoring, and reporting to ensure the overall loan manufacturing and servicing process is congruent with Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA and FHLB standards. This position will oversee and manage the lock process.  Your familiarity with all existing loan products is an asset as you assist on the lock-in desk to promptly respond to questions from the branches regarding loan pricing, re-locks, extensions and any other general pricing questions.  You will oversee the daily tracking of mortgage-backed securities (MBS) sales, rolls, and pair offs, negotiate pricing exceptions, and supervise the registering and locking of loans with outside investors. You will monitor the closed but not committed pipeline and commit loans as quickly as possible.  You will also monitor 3rd party QC reports and adjust processes as needed. You create mandatory commitments, including assignment of trades, bulk commitments, FNMA/Freddie cash commitments, and GNMA securities.  You will ensure all commitments, securities, and mortgage service released are purchased on time, and at the correct price and in accordance with all agency, investor and documents custodian rules and regulations.  You input and maintain commitment detail and pricing at the commitment level and at individual loan level in the LOS and in our custom reports.  You finish out the loan process by coordinating the loan sales and shipping and reconciling any discrepancies.  In general, the position manages the loan life cycle including, Regulatory Disclosures, Loan Processing, Loan Closing Documents, Loan Funding, Post-Closing, Loan Shipping, and Loan Sales. 
•  You’re Part of a Team – As the Secondary Market Supervisor, you are part of the Mortgage Operations Team.  You lead a team of Secondary Marketing Analysts through monitoring, training, motivating and coaching.  You also work closely other leaders in the department to align goals.  Finally, you will work closely with Risk Management to identify regulatory changes and participate in updating procedures and processes to ensure mortgage loan compliance and you partner with Accounting for the monthly reconciliation of the actual P&L.
•  Technical Expertise is a must! - You are responsible for the accuracy of all programming in Optimal Blue and MortgageBot software.  You supervise the creation of the daily rates in both systems, and oversee the pricing updates for new products or updates to existing products.

What it Takes:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related Business Field or 5 years in the Mortgage Services Industry
• Assist personnel with more complex issues that may disrupt workflow. 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Understanding of management procedures - ability to plan department activities; effectively staff department to achieve established service levels; directing employees towards the desired objectives; controlling the function (developing performance standards, measuring results, taking corrective action and rewarding employees as appropriate).
• Displays enthusiasm and self-motivation to complete complex tasks
• Advanced level of knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated skill set in developing rapport with people and working in collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• 3 year’s Fair Lending Experience
• 2 year’s Pricing Experience and/or Secondary Marketing Experience
• 1 years Trading Experience, Capital Markets Experience, Optimal Blue experience and/or MortgageBot LOS Experience
• 3  years supervisory experience
