RATCLIFF LAKE CUSTODIAL

LOCATIONS AND SCHEDULES:

Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area--Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area is physically located approximately 0.2 miles west of Ratcliff, Texas on State Highway (SH) 7. DAY USE AREA October 1 – April 30 2 days/week (Friday and Monday) May 1 – September 6 days/week (Thursday-Tuesday) Campground Year round 6 days/week (Thursday-Tuesday)

Piney Creek Horse Camp--Piney Creek Horse Camp is located on National Forest System Road (NFSR 566) 3 miles south of Kennard, Texas. October 1 – January 30 3 days/week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) February 1 – September 30 1 day/week (Friday)

White Rock Horse Camp--White Rock Horse Camp is located approximately 5 miles south of SH 7 on NFSR 514D, October 1 – January 30 3 days/week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) February 1 – September 30 1 day/week (Friday)

Neches Bluff Overlook--Neches Bluff Overlook is located on NFSR 511A approximately 0.5 miles west of the Neches River and 1 mile south of SH 21. October 1 – January 30-- 3 Days/week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) February 1 – September 30 1 day/week (Friday)

SCHEDULE: Perform daily cleaning tasks and trash pickup between the hours of 0700 and 1400 on scheduled days, SHOULD NOT TAKE FULL DAY

SCOPE OF WORK: Services performed on scheduled days:

i. Empty and dispose contents of all trash bins. Replace liners as needed. Disinfect trash cans once per week. Haul trash to compactor and compact. Pick up trash around compactor. Inform COR when dumpster needs to be emptied.

ii. Pick up litter within 15 feet of trash bins and buildings.

iii. Resupply toilet paper.

iv. Clean restrooms. Sweep floors. Clean and disinfect all structures and fixtures (i.e., toilet seats and risers, walls, doors, and ceilings)

v. Apply bacterial culture in the toilets after cleaning once per week.

vi. If necessary, chemical solvents will be used to remove markings and stains.

vii. Vault type toilets will be visually inspected at each cleaning for fullness. All vaults nearing fullness will be reported.

viii. Sweep exterior of building to remove spider webs, mud dauber nests, etc.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize work effectively

-Previous experience using a trash compactor

-Truck to carry trash to compactor from all 4 locations.
