What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Administrator position at GES?
SUMMARY:
The Service Administrator will be responsible for the effective performance of miscellaneous clerical duties within the service department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in opening service orders, segments, and corrections of service orders as needed.
- Cost and invoice service orders as necessary throughout the day
- Add equipment profiles as needed for customer machines needing repair.
- Performs month-end processes as needed for the Service Department
- Proofreads work orders for grammar and spelling as necessary.
- Works with Foremen to ensure work orders are processed and invoiced within 10 days of last labor
- Timecard entry onto work orders as needed
- Maintains department files and ensures material is properly filed within the company’s computer network for multiple companies
- Other duties as required by manager
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum 2-year administrative degree or 2 years related work experience.
- An above average computer comfort level to work with Excel, MS Outlook, and OneDrive
- Strong keyboarding skills
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred.
- Knowledge of service process and procedures
- Strong organizational skills
