Job Description
As a Manager of Risk Management, you will play a pivotal role in executing and overseeing projects aimed at maximizing risk mitigation and claim subrogation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, maintaining, and enhancing systems utilized by the risk mitigation team.
- Leading a team of Risk Management Analysts to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers and business partners.
- Recruitment, training, and supervision of Risk Management Analysts to ensure the smooth daily operations of the risk management team.
- Providing ad hoc reporting to management, other departments, and clients.
- Managing vendors through risk assessments, contract negotiations, and onboarding processes.
- Developing risk management strategies for new products and refining existing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Analytics, Data Analysis, Risk Management, or a related field, plus one (1) year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in PowerBI, Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization), Confluence, and Jira.
- Experience with HubSpot for stage/property design, workflow builds, reporting, and email templates.
- Strong understanding of operational and third-party vendor risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, claims handling processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required.
