Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA
- Manage the clinic's budget, including monitoring expenses and revenue, and making adjustments as necessary
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal patient care
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and reimbursement
- Maintain medical records in accordance with legal requirements and best practices
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Foster a positive work environment by providing leadership, guidance, and support to clinic staff
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in healthcare management
Qualifications
- Preferred license as LPN, RN (preferred and strongly encouraged)
-Urgent Care MA experience required as medical assistant if no Medical License
- Proven experience in practice management or healthcare administration
- Strong knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical record management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
