What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Field Installer position at Ghai Management?

We are now hiring to add to our IT department for our Restaurant Company.

What you will do:

Direct responsibility to develop, manage, update, document, and support various restaurant technology systems including software and hardware support, configuration management, quality assurance, third-party vendor application support, and general user support.

Essential Functions:

· Coordinate with software vendors to prioritize enhancement requests and bug fixes; Ensure successful system-wide deployment without operations impact.

· Provide support, as needed, for all systems (hardware and software) deployed to Ghai Management services.

· Extensive knowledge diagnosing and troubleshooting software, hardware and procedural problems

· Work to minimize downtime resulting from procedural, hardware, or software applications issues.

· Isolate problem trends and ensures that troubleshooting efforts are completed for recurring problems until permanent solutions are found

· Develop, Test and Deploy configuration changes and software updates to the restaurants timely. Monitor the deployment of all changes to ensure completion. Follow-up on failed deployments and resolve issues.

· Recommend and/or develop process, policies, and procedures that lead to a more efficient and effective customer service experience

· Proven ability to execute projects in regards to software and hardware deployment, staging, configuration, testing, programming, installations, or upgrades

· Multi-task in an effective manner and work successfully in a fast-paced environment

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the IT Manager or VP of Information Technology.

Requirements:

Experience:

· Experience with restaurant technologies

· Experience with in-depth working knowledge of restaurant systems; Xenial Sicom POS, Kitchen Display Systems, Configuration Center (CFC), online ordering, loyalty programs, and new technologies as needed

· Experience of hands-on experience in restaurant POS administration/management, restaurant support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Experience with Celling / on Wall Screen MOUNTING

· Experience of business systems knowledge required, including POS, sales, labor, cash, inventory and system exports\imports.

· Experience with managing multiple high priority initiatives in a fast paced highly technical environment

Education:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Sicom (Xenial) systems certified a plus

· Strong analytical skills to identify trends and dig into root cause of problems

· Ability to multitask effectively

· Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written

· Strong customer relationship skills

· Must be able to document and present technical issues to be understood at a user (non-technical) level

· Problem-solving abilities and ability to consistently meet deadlines

· Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships

· Project management experience

· Ability to work with minimal supervision

Working Conditions:

· Position requires talking, hearing, kneeling, walking, crouching, crawling, grasping, pushing, lifting, sedentary work, and visual acuity

· On Call responsibilities (Includes Weekends)

· Extensive travel, up to 75%
