Overview : We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HIM Document Scanner. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Health Information Management (HIM) or for those studying for RHIT / RHIA or coding certifications who need practical experience within a health system.
This position is initially focused on scanning but has the potential to become permanent with opportunities for growth in Prepping & Indexing.
Job Details
- Setting : On-Site

- Duration : 26 weeks
- Shift : 8 Hour Days 16 hours per week

Key Responsibilities :
- Perform document scanning using CoFax Software & Cerner PowerChart.
- Ensure high-quality scanning with attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Adhere to dress code and present professionally.
Ideal Candidate :
- Background in Health Information Management (HIM) preferred.
- Currently studying for RHIT / RHIA or coding certifications.
- Eager to gain experience and break into the HIM field.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication skills and professional presentation.
