GHSP is looking to add a Marketing and Communication Specialist, reporting directly to our Vice President of Sales and Marketing. This role will have great impact leading the definition and delivery of marketing strategies and corporate communication plans, both externally and internally, related to our strategy, products, capabilities, and overall GHSP brand in the rapidly evolving electronics and software areas of the mobility, appliance, and automotive markets.
About the Position:
GHSP, a global technology organization, is currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our Headquarters team in Holland, Michigan. Hybrid work options available.
Essential Job Functions:
Create and manage marketing elements aimed at connecting GHSP with stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and employees. Responsibilities include developing graphic content, managing the utilization of GHSP's marketing collateral, maintaining GHSP's webpage and overall digital presence, coordinating with external marketing partners, and further developing and promoting the GHSP brand.
Work cross functionally to build and execute a communication strategy and plan that achieves direction set by leadership team including areas of overall GHSP branding, support of growth at new and existing customer targets, and additionally, supports internal employee awareness and engagement.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research. This research will be used to identify new opportunities, determine brand perceptions, benchmark competitor activity, and feed our megatrends perspective. Studies may include market trends that drive sales volume projections and analysis, competitor analysis, customer satisfaction surveys, product investigation and research concerning regulatory changes within the industry. Assist with the creation and effective communication of the information.
Organize promotional events at customers, trade shows, and other venues. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross functional staff to ensure delivery of appropriate collateral.
Provides input to leadership for budget development. Identify weaknesses in existing marketing campaigns and develop potential solutions. Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as brainstorm fresh strategies.
Create sustainable processes and project metrics that enable efficient tracking and execution of multiple projects within the marketing and communications space, including trends, effectiveness, and areas of potential advancement. Create and maintain marketing calendars and process maps with all confirmed activities and support.

* Bachelor's degree in a marketing, communications, or business field is required.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a related industry.
* Proven ability to create marketing and communication plans with the capability to drive through implementation.
* Outstanding communication, relationship building, and influencing skills to allow success and impact cross functionally within the organization, in addition to externally.
* Ability to present and communication at all levels of the organization.
* Strategic thinking and creative / entrepreneurial thinking combined with strong decision-making capabilities
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and digital marketing tools
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to design, build, and improve websites through visual imagery, graphic design creation and enhanced navigation.
