Connecticut GI is looking for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Fairfield Care Center! We are the largest gastroenterology practice in the state of Connecticut with 29 Care Centers and still growing. What You Will Do For Us:
- Providing Remarkable Patient Experience: Triage and room patients, provide medications while ensuring highest quality of care
- Attention to Detail: Properly compose, process, and follow-up on electronic phone messages and alerts.
- Team Player: Utilizing EMR, answer any quick questions, which are appropriate, and lend support wherever needed.
- Versatility: Process prior authorizations when required.
- Expertise: Monitor schedule of assigned providers, noting and correcting errors as appropriate.
What We Are Looking For In You:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- LPN License.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- 1 year(s) prior LPN experience.
- Experience with an EMR system is ideal, Epic experience is a plus.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education: Associates degree in nursing. Active and valid LVN license.
Experience: 2-5 years of prior LVN experience is preferred. Prior GI or Internal Medicine experience is a plus.
