What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neck Assembler position at Gibson Brands Inc.?
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the Neck Assembler role is to prep and assemble components which make up the neck and fret board of the guitar. This process takes some raw components and some preassembled components and combines them into a finished product.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities will include:
Learn and execute standard operating procedures- Able to accurately and precisely manipulate small components
- 95% pass rate based on production requirements
- Understands and meets quality standards (Specs.)
- Maintains product flow at appropriate rate
- Adheres to department protocols (5S and Safety)
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Develop a strong understanding of the models and machine programs
- Strong attention to detail.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solutions oriented approach to challenges/issues
- Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision
- Team work and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team
