Warehouse Associate
Location: Waterford Twp, Michigan
Department: Shipping Unit
About the Distribution Team
Our distribution team helps ensure that our partner pharmacies receive their patients needed medications in a timely manner. The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of tasks to ensure the proper handling and distribution of finished dosage drug products.
How You’ll Help Us Improve Healthcare
- Process and fulfill orders according to First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) and First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory management programs
- Generate shipping labels for orders using appropriate couriers like UPS and FedEx
- Organize and maintain physical drug inventory in warehouse
- Organize and maintain drug inventory via electronic means
- Securely pack orders in appropriately-sized shipping boxes
- Photograph and document incoming drug products
- Record daily shipments and costs
- Perform pre-shift hi-lo inspection
- Order supplies as needed
A Few Things About You
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years shipping/warehouse experience
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work and stand on feet the majority of shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a criminal and civil background check
- Previous experience handling drug products
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical terminology
- Industrial Truck Operator Training
