The position
*We are currently seeking a bilingual English/Spanish candidate for this position.
Hours: Full-time: 40 hours per week, M-F 8:30a-5p. We are also open to part-time hours (20 hours per week).
Salary: Compensation based on experience, starting at $15 per hour
Location: Springfield, MO

Customer Happiness is responsible for developing positive relationships and providing an exceptional experience for all GigSalad users. The Customer Happiness team is made up of friendly and personable people with a passion to help and a working knowledge of GigSalad's many facets. They are tech-savvy, patient, kind, and aren’t scared to pick up the phone and spend an afternoon walking someone through any issue they may have.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handle inbound and outbound customer service phone calls
- Answer incoming customer emails
- Complete daily tasks for database upkeep
- Communicate with members regarding issues with accounts and policy violations
- Assist members with creating and maintaining their PromoKits
- Research and observe other companies with exemplary customer service to draw inspiration and improve our practices
What You’ll Need:
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge & understanding of basic technology and various web-based tools
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with members and event planners
- Must be deadline-oriented, exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy, and have excellent multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to take initiative, think creatively, and work collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to handle the complexities of a rapidly expanding organization
- Must be comfortable managing conflict with professionalism
