POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the cash levels in all the cash services Gaming Kiosks, ATMs, Express Cash Dispensers (ECDs), Cash Recyclers, and other Cage Department machinery, to include providing minor technical support, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
- Conducts cash/coin replenishments on any cash units that are the responsibility of the department.
- Verifies funds and compares transactions to receipts in the units.
- Assists guests with transaction disputes or jams.
- Rolls or bags coin as required to ensure levels of coin are available for business.
- Maintains supplies and equipment. Notifies Management of the need to order supplies and equipment.
- Performs minor proper preventative maintenance and cleaning on cash units.
- Performs diagnostic repairs, and maintenance within the units.
- Completes daily reports on issues/incidents including explanation of the issues/incidents and the work done on resolving the issues.
- Responsible for balancing the units.
- Assists with relocations and installations as assigned.
- Maintains communicates and works closely with Cage Management and other Cage Kiosk Attendants.
- Ensures compliance with departmental policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulations.
- Maintains confidentiality with all casino related information including operational data and procedures
- Performs the majority of tasks with computing and electronic equipment and various computer applications.
- Safeguards all assets in accordance with established policies and procedures and SOPs.
- Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
- Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience and/or technical training in diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of ATMs preferred.
- Six (6) months of cash handling experience or previous cashiering experience utilizing currency counters and coin sorters preferred.

- Must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask, along with excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
- Most possess strong written communication skills to provide detailed explanation and description of the issues and/or situation, possible solutions, and work performed to Management.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.

As a condition of employment, all new hires must pass the following:
Pre-employment Alcohol/Drug Test. This drug test includes the normal seven-panel test, but excludes marijuana for non-safety sensitive positions.
Background check. Applicants who have felonies, warrants, outstanding tickets, shoplifting or theft convictions will be ineligible for employment.
Experience
Required- 1 year(s): Six (6) months of cash handling experience or previous cashiering experience utilizing currency counters and coin sorters preferred.
