Performs daily and monthly manufacturing accounting tasks relative to inventory. Compiles and analyzes reporting packages with financial and operational KPIs for management review
Responsible for maintaining and upkeeping inventory records in accordance with corporate policy.
Ensure all internal SOX compliance and external government compliance is always maintained for inventory.
Perform month-end accounting close tasks for and inventory.
Travel to plants to perform inventory audits.
Work with supply room coordinators to ensure that purchase orders are being created and coded correctly.
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reporting packages for division leadership review.
Work with Finance Manager and Plant Managers to investigate financial performance variances.
Work with Operations to compile key operational data for management reporting.
Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and cost synergies.
Assist Finance Manager with forecasting and budgeting initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting;
1-2 years of finance/accounting experience in manufacturing and operations;
Ability to work with limited supervision on competing high visibility and priority projects;
Strong communication skills.
Ability to partner with cross functional team;
Proven skill in converting detailed financial analysis into digestible presentations;
Proficient level knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
Hyperion Smartview experience, preferred
JDE experience, preferred
Meticulous organization skills, and flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business needs
