Construction Laborer

Gillmann Services is now hiring Construction Laborers. A construction background is beneficial but not necessary as we will train you! Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and working in an open-air shop during a variety of seasons.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradesmen and machine operators on casting projects
• Unload and carry materials at the plant site

• Use equipment to break old forms and structures
• Prepare and apply construction materials to concrete structures or fill gaps (e.g cement)
• Smooth and level concrete or other materials
• Clean out site from debris and discarded material

Skills

• Previous experience as a construction worker and Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout etc.) is helpful but entry-level is acceptable
• Able to work in a team
• Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail

• Able to follow directions and all safety guidelines, at all times

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
