Directional Boring Locator

Pay will depend on experience and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• MUST have experience with line locating within directional boring
• If a CDL driver, operate a CDL Class Vehicle
• Perform tasks related with the drilling process
• Locate the Bore Path with DCI or Subsite
• The job involves day-to-day drilling and pullback of conduits or pipes for outside plant projects
• Work includes new builds, maintenance, and restoration in various areas
• Locate underground utilities and monitor locating process during drilling
• Read prints and demonstrate good judgment in the field
• Work well in a team with supervisors, managers, and crew members
• Adhere to company safety procedures and policies
• Employees may work more than 40 hours per week and outside normal business hours as needed

Location:

• Working on locations from Covington to Baton Rouge.
• Some visits to the shop in Brusly, LA.

Schedule:

• 8-10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday (potentially up to 50 hrs a week-40 minimum)

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)

Qualification Skills Required:

• CDL a plus
• Able to perform general Construction Labor Tasks
• Operate a Directional Drill
• Strong Work Ethic
• Be able to use locating equipment
