The Role:
We are looking for an IT Engineer to streamline the processes that serve the ever-evolving needs of GitKraken employees and users. You will work alongside GitKraken’s VP of Engineering and be on the cutting edge of new industry trends and work collaboratively across our team to ensure reliability and security as GitKraken continues to grow.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage cloud hosting provider relationships and implementation (AWS in US and EU)
- Monitor and manage network security to ensure safe, secure operation of the business
- Administer Microsoft Windows Technologies (Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS)
- Microsoft SQL Server setup and basic administration
- Setup and administer desktops and manage security updates, patching
- Manage, scale and optimize our in-office connectivity at our Scottsdale HQ
- End-user setup and support
What You’ll Bring:
- Virtual Machines: Hands-on experience with Azure/MS VMs
- Experience and networking with the big 3 OSes is a must: Windows, Mac, and Linux
- Experience with setup and administration with setup SQL Server databases
Bonus Points:
- Experience deploying and managing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience working with AWS and a strong understanding of AWS platform, service offerings, and billing (Cloud Formation Templates, VPCs and Subnets, ECS, S3, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudFront, RDS, EC2, ELB/ALB)
- Network Design and Architecture: Experience working on the high-level design and architectures of networks, servers, infrastructure, and other systems for SaaS
- Experience with setup and administration of MongoDB
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins
- Setup and configuration of VPN, Firewalls and other Network Infrastructure

Location:
GitKraken is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and we would love to have this person be local to our main office for a hybrid approach of remote & in-office work.
