Office assistant
GL Contractors is a plumbing and fire sprinkler company that is looking to hire a new office assistant with or without experience. The candidate should be able to be honest, trustworthy, communicate well, multi-task, organized, be able to do basic math, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook).
Job Duties:
- Data entry (excel)
- Check invoice prices to quote prices
- Check and compare quotations (excel)
- Manage Project Schedule Payments (Excel)
- Communicate with insurance brokers.
- Communicate with general contractors.
- Keep up with office payments (projects, utilities, credit cards, etc.)
- Organized files (projects documents, Project Payments, Invoices, bank & credit card statement, etc.)
- Answer phone calls and emails.
- Go to banks/suppliers/or other places as needed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel is a must)
- Bilingual: Spanish or Chinese
- Reliable transportation: Valid driver’s license
- MUST like dogs: We have two German Shepherds.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
