Western Security Bank is hiring a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will manage the marketing process from research and planning to execution and analysis. The Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing plans, budgets, and integrated marketing campaigns the supports Western Security Bank’s goals and objectives by generating demand for our products and services, targeting both existing and potential customers. The Marketing Manager is responsible for building brand recognition by establishing and maintaining brand standards across all channels and facilities.
The Marketing Manager will work independently, as well as, in cross functional teams with various levels of knowledge. These cross functional teams assist internal support staff to accomplish position/department/customer goals within regulatory/policy guidelines. Will also serve as a liaison maintaining a professional, customer service-oriented demeanor in all contact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will direct, develop, and implement strategic marketing plans and forecasts to support the overall bank goals and objectives.
- Will create and implement compliant marketing campaigns that leverage the most appropriate channels to reach the identified markets.
- Will build external brand recognition with integrated advertising, public relations, and charitable giving strategies.
- Will manage and lead marketing staff and external contractors to efficiently execute marketing concepts.
- Will buy and place media including digital, traditional, OTT, social, etc. according to campaign strategy.
- Will work with local media sales representatives to monitor monthly traffic schedules, review media plans and negotiate media schedules.
- Will establish and maintain consistent brand standards throughout all product lines, promotional materials, events, and facilities.
- Will facilitate communication between Marketing and other departments. Coordinate with key department managers to ensure timely development and implementation of marketing strategies.
- Will coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to execute internal/external marketing campaigns.
- Will prepare marketing activity reports for presentation to Senior Management and Board of Directors.
- Will perform regular competitor analysis or products, sales, and marketing efforts and identify opportunities within our market.
- Will seek out opportunities to promote, foster, and maintain Western Security Bank’s corporate image as a community focused organization.
Campaign Management
- Will develop and execute creative strategy in cohesion with overall marketing and business strategy.
- Will establish goals for each campaign, using appropriate KPIs. Will analyze campaign effectiveness using assigned KPIs.
- Will work with internal and external creative teams to execute all assets needed for campaigns.
- Will manage creative schedule and creative teams to execute campaign assets and ensure projects are finished on time and in accordance to marketing strategy.
- Will buy and place campaign assets in appropriate channels
- Will ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand standards, are accurate, current and effective.
- Will update in-branch assets to reflect current marketing campaigns and customer notices.
- Will work with GBCI compliance to ensure marketing materials are within company policy guidelines.
Deposit Acquisition Consultant Management (HPG)
- Will collaborate with Customer Experience Officer to integrate HPG campaigns into Marketing strategy to maximize deposit acquisition efforts and execute HPG campaigns.
- Will ensure brand alignment in all HPG efforts.
- Will provide marketing perspective on HPG strategy.
CRM, Website, and Social Media Management
- Will create strategy for and manage social, search, listing, and CRM platforms, including content calendars, compliance, and implementation.
- Will perform daily website maintenance/updates to ensure information is current, consistent with bank products/services, visually attractive and user friendly.
- Will monitor website analytics, assess customer website usage, and strategize to increase effectiveness.
Customer Relations
- Develop strategies and tools designed to improve external customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- Adhere to Western Security Bank Company Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Service Principles.
- Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers.
- Demonstrate a “customers come first” approach when prioritizing tasks.
- Maintains a professional, courteous, service-oriented relationship with all internal and external customers.
- Will participate in community events and activities to enhance the image of Western Security Bank and develop relationships within the area in which we serve.
Compliance
- Ensure marketing materials and department are compliant with established procedures, bank policies, and government regulations.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
- Complete required bank and OnCourse training courses within assigned time frame(s).
- Represent Western Security Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive “can-do” attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
- Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy.
- Attends and participates in meetings as required.
- Additional duties as requested or assigned.
About You
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Business, or any related degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years successful work experience in marketing or related field required.
- Demonstrated experience with social media branding and identity is preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
