Community Health Network is seeking a full-time General Dentist that will provide oral care and treatment, which includes assessing, diagnosing, providing treatment plans, prescribing medication therapy, and offering counsel across the lifespan. The ideal candidate will assist with the development of staff and possess a strong desire to deliver outstanding care and education to CHN’s patients and community. Your expertise will be embedded in an integrated care clinic that follows patient-centered medical home (PCMH) guidelines and principles. The ideal candidate should align with the organization’s mission, “to provide quality care that uplifts, supports, and shapes healthy communities while addressing financial and social barriers”.
Certificates, licenses, and registrations required:
- Licensed by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners as a general dentist, required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
- Must possess a current unrestricted DEA
Other skills required/preferred:
- At least 2 – 5 years of clinical experience, preferred but NOT required
- Ability to be clinically fluent in Spanish preferred.
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices preferred.
- Ability to work with people of all socioeconomic levels.
- Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges required.
- Must be FTCA coverage or private professional malpractice insurance obtainable.
- High ethical standards.
- Must be a team player, well-organized and self-directed.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to relate to people at all levels in the organization.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
