Glass City Vape and More is on the search for an enthusiastic retail sales associate to join the team at our new Energy Corridor Location, 1029 N Hwy 6 77079.
Product knowledge and high energy are the keys to success for us, and we need team members who are as excited as we are to be here doing what we do. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar setting, a bright disposition, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers
- Provide accurate product information (e.g. types of glass, disposables, vapes, etc)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide enthusiastic and effective customer service to promote return business
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Ensure shop stays clean and tidy (open/close cleaning duties)
Skills
- Customer Service/ Retail experience
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Knowledge of product base
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
