Please note this role is a 4-month temporary position open to remote hiring. Our main office locations are in San Francisco, CA, Chicago, IL and Uniontown, OH.

We’re looking for a contract Benefits Specialist to first and foremost help with employee benefit programs. This person will be the face of our frontline benefits support. You’ll need to be a polished, agile communicator, wholly own your work, have plenty of initiative, and be ready, willing, and able to make sure the job gets done.

What You'll Do:

  • Communicate, implement and facilitate employee benefit programs that attract and retain employees, ensuring that highly competitive and cost-effective programs are offered to current employees and future hires
  • Creatively participate and support through all stages of the annual renewal activities for all global employees
  • Partner with communication, branding and marketing teams for development of internal and external communications in support of appropriate and relevant audience content
  • Coordinate absence management and ADA administration with third-party vendors under company policy
  • Support data review and audit for enrollments and invoices
  • Support with billing and invoices
  • Support compliance and legal filings

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and/or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of employer group benefits, leave of absence, and defined contribution retirement administration work experience
  • Workday systems experience advantageous
  • Solid understanding of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, Section 125, HSA rules and other benefit and regulatory requirements
  • Proven customer service background.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Practice a high level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Display tact and courtesy in dealing with employees and vendors.
