What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver position at Glenwild?
The Glenwild Shuttle Driver drives and maintains a safe and punctual shuttle for all passengers. The primary duty is to safely transport employees and independent contractors from the Golf Course Maintenance parking lot to the Clubhouse and back in a timely and safe manner.
The purpose is to provide friendly, efficient service to coworkers at Glenwild's Clubhouse. The shuttle driver directly impacts the shift start times of most staff at the Clubhouse.
This is a seasonal full-time position (June through September). Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
DUTIES
Provide a safe, timely shuttle service with a scheduled route to and from the Employee Parking Area and the Clubhouse in ten minutes or less.
Shuttle bus driver will be responsible for keeping the vehicle cleaned and vaccumed on a daily basis.
Be available and accessible when on duty.
Approach all encounters with members, guests, and fellow employees in a gracious, attentive, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
Take part in keeping Glenwild clean and litter free. Cleanliness is everyone's responsibility; take ownership in the Club.
Attend meetings as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Pleasant and helpful service-oriented attitude is essential.
Commercial Driver's License preferred, but not required.
Able to work over 40 hours a week during peak times throughout the season. Ability to work any day of the week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Hours will range from as early as 6.00am to 12.00am. Extra consideration will be given to candidates with flexible availabiltiy.
Valid U.S. drivers license with a clean driving record (a DMV report will be required upon hire and annual DMV reports will be checked) and provide MVR record. If hired, authorizes Glenwild to generate and review MVR record.
