Position: Accounts Payable

Global Best Produce is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to support our CFO in overseeing our vendor accounts and daily financial operations. Global Best Produce is a leading produce wholesaler in Los Angeles, specializing in Asian fruits and vegetables. We distribute fruits and vegetables to wholesalers and supermarkets all over the United States. We also specialize in cold storage service and logistic solutions. Our growing company focuses on combining high quality fresh produce, customer service, and technology to create the best experience for our customers. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and act as a first point of contact for our vendor accounts
• Ensure all vendor bills are collected, processed and reviewed by our CEO in a timely and efficient manner
• Communicate with vendors to handle bill discrepancies
• Review statements to ensure the accuracy of bills and account balances
• Receive and reply to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Handle payments to ensure vendors receive payments safely and in a timely manner
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with vendors and partners
• Organize and maintain files for record-keeping
• Complete duties and projects to support the CFO as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Basic understanding of transaction-level accounting regarding A/P
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred, but not necessary
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to learn
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Must be able to work both in a team and individually
• Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) (basic to working proficiency accepted)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Accounts Payable: 1 year (Preferred)
