Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for developing new processes and optimizing the current process in the thin film, metallization, test, wet etch, and dry etch module. The section manager will work with the team to plan and provide guidance on projects and also interface with the other departments (Integration, Productions, Equipment, and Production Control) for project requirements and priorities.
· Interfaces with and contributes to improvements in all areas of GC’s compound semiconductor FAB. Key area of focus will be thin film, metallization, test, wet etch, and dry etch.
· Designs of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and training.
· Authorizes to release tool/process to production, and trains and certify operators to perform certain processes, and to write and release process procedures and work instructions.
· Defines the execution plans based on the quarterly objectives and follow it through.
· Works with integration engineers on the process development.
· Supervises process engineers or technicians to make sure the tasks are moving per plan.
· Evaluates the process, tools, and production issues.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
