Job Title: Supply Planning Manager – Reports to the Head of Supply Planning
Location: Lexington, MA
About the role:
Manage product commercialization plans, post-commercialization supply chain management, communication of product/supply chain status and issues to ensure decision-making by Senior Management.
Help develop the pre-commercialization strategy and have primary responsibility for completing the post-commercialization strategy, which involves coordination and development of forecast, marketing, and product strategies.
Be the principal liaison between Takeda and its domestic/international, third-party contractors, drug product and raw material suppliers for commercialized products, government agencies for controlled substance quotas, and monitor third-party performance through metrics and goals.
How you will contribute:
Provide strategic vision and definition for all of our supply chain integration projects to align with our goals.
Oversee and review the development and third-party execution against performance metrics and assure improvements to operational performance, and communication of planning information to all functional departments.
Manage the fiscal management of Takeda's working capital, (i.e., bulk drug product, finished drug product, packaging commodities) located within Takeda's network, licensors, or at suppliers, third-party contract organizations.
Influence qualified third-party/raw material suppliers to make necessary capital investments and expenditures to assure a continuous supply of goods.
Be a primary supply chain liaison with Operations Management, Quality, Project Management, Legal, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory, Sales, Customs, and Logistics for commercialized products.
Oversee management and communication of product forecasts, scheduling requirements, goals, resource planning, and budgets with third-party contractors to assure that appropriate capacities and resources are available to produce the product needed for all commercialized products.
Evaluate environmental, legislative, compliance, customs, and internal factors, which will potentially improve Takeda's supply chain.
What you bring to Takeda:
Bachelor's degree in health science, packaging, engineering, business, or logistics management.
Minimum of 3 years of planning and operations experience or combination thereof.
Proficient in presentation tools and techniques.
Proficient in the application of materials management and packaging tools and techniques.
Working knowledge of SAP planning tools or the ability to quickly become proficient in using these tools

You may:
Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and, wearing protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
Work in a cold, wet environment.
Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours.
Work near and around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers, and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
