As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be a part of the Marketing Operations and Demand Generation (Launch) team responsible for cross-channel promotional and lead generation campaigns. This proactive, highly detail-oriented, and motivated individual will support digital strategies that will meet the objectives of internal and external stakeholders. They will play a key role in the day-to-day management and execution of its email marketing and social media programs. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing daily posts and email deployments for our brand, business units, and events. You will manage all aspects of the setup and execution associated with email deployment and social posting which includes audience segmentation, copy and design review, QA, tracking implementation, scheduling, and performance reporting. Ongoing analysis of campaigns and regular reporting to internal groups will be a key component of this role.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be expected to proactively problem solve. Candidates should be a team player, ready to jump in a work, and feel comfortable approaching colleagues, picking up the phone, or sending an email all with the goal of getting the necessary information to complete any task at hand in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to multi-channel, online, and offline marketing campaigns and content
strategies as it pertains to email and social in alignment and coordination with other channel marketing efforts.
- Manage email & social calendar for each respective business unit/brand
- Subject matter expert on email and social media best practices, trends and policies, and laws
- Set up, review, and deploy all email campaigns for the Nagase brand and its subsidiaries.
- Schedule, track and monitor social posts—comments, inquires and escalate to respective business units/stakeholders as needed
- Support and actively participate in campaign and social calendar research & brainstorming
- Have a consistent focus on growing email subscribers and social media followers within targeted industries, demographics, and personas
- Coordinate and communicate with other teams to ensure timely delivery of all email and social assets
- Maintain and optimize email subscriber database to execute audience segmentation
- Manage campaigns to pre-defined KPIs/ROAS/Budget
- Conduct regular A/B testing for continuous program optimization and learning
- Provide in-depth program results and monthly campaign reports to be presented to senior management
- Build collaborative relationships with other internal marketing teams including analytics, digital creative, group marketing managers and business division stakeholders
- Contribute to multi-channel, online and offline marketing campaign and content
strategies and recommend effective channels based on internal client objectives
Experience, Skills & Attributes
- Bachelor's Degree required—Marketing, Communications, Marketing Technology, Journalism Preferred
- A minimum of 2-3 year of experience in digital marketing with a focus in email and social media management
- Prior experience with social media management platforms—Hootsuite preferred
- Prior experience with mid-size and enterprise email marketing/marketing automations platforms—Marketo and MailChimp
- Experience integrating Marketo and MailChimp, a plus
- Working knowledge of HTML and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience managing social advertising campaigns a plus
- Technically adept, with an ability to learn new concepts and software applications quickly
