What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP/Payroll Analyst position at Global MSO LLC?
SUMMARY
Responsible for bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payroll for all managed companies. Provide data and/or complete reports required by the company.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Process payroll for Global MSO managed entities.
- Work with supervisors/managers to approve/complete timesheets and prepare for payroll processing.
- Work with the Finance Manager on updates/changes needed prior to payroll processing.
- Review payroll, make corrections as needed and print payroll reports for final review and approval by the Finance Manager.
- Submit payroll in a timely manner.
- Prepare/maintain required payroll reports as requested and needed:
a. Post payroll reporting to managed entities.
b. Worker Compensation Audits.
c. FSA monthly requirements.
d. Insurance company requirements as requested.
e. Management requirements as requested.
f. Yearly reporting requirements.
- Manage PTO balances for each managed entity by understanding the various PTO accrual methods and track employees for accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Resolve any complaints that fall within scope of responsibilities in a prompt and professional manner. Forward issues to the Finance Manager, as appropriate.
- Maintain excellent communication with internal department managers, directors and employees.
- Provide assistance to the Finance Manager and the Director of Finance and Administration as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned and necessary.
Education & Experience:
- Must have at least 3-5 years payroll experience with knowledge of ADP and Paychex software preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably with SAP accounting software.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as evidenced by the ability to concisely and clearly communicate complex matters.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
6. Ability to establish goals and monitor progress against goals.
