POSITION OVERVIEW
The Account Manager has the main responsibility to align with Vendor Management on Amazon initiatives, focused on problem-solving and account management for strategic manufacturers pursuing exponential growth on Amazon. The position requires the candidate to exercise discretion and independent judgment, while problem-solving issues with internal marketing/sales, retailers and manufacturers. The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated, and possess efficient organizational skills. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will be a vital aspect of the role
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
• Serve as the main point of contact between Amazon and the manufacturer to deliver exponential and profitable growth.
• Build strategic business plans unique to each manufacturer across Amazon channel for sales, marketing, and operations.
• Manage day to day responsibilities of accounts through established Amazon tools and processes.
• Create and maintain product content information.
• Review forecasts and provide feedback to the sales team, manufactures, and Amazon
• Ongoing troubleshooting of issues
Knowledge/Skills
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Working knowledge of operations, marketing, finance, and sales.
• Retail analytics, ROI, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with entrepreneurial behavior abilities
• Ability to multitask
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Experience working with internal and external business relationships
Travel
• Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and team-building off-sites. (3-6 total trips per year)
