RESPONSIBILITIES- User Research
- Understand the user experience as a whole and use it to appropriately inform design decisions by:
- Helping conduct and define UX research, persona creation, user interviews, and usability testing scenarios
- Interpreting complex data into defined user problems, suggested user journeys, and prescribed UI designs to support the best user experiences.
- As an acute designer, produce new product experiences and improvements by:
- Defining the product's look and feel based on persona needs and business goals
- Creating, updating, and implementing thoughtful UI/UX concepts, wireframes, high fidelity comps, and clickable prototypes
- Effectively communicate visual design choices, UX interactions, and product specifications while also negotiating options with technical, product, and management teams
- Understanding what types of user experiences are made possible with current technology
- Collaborating with Product Owners to ensure designs are implemented by Development teams as intended and the integrity of the experience is maintained in the final output according to design standards, brand expectations, and defined user needs
- Working with existing and forthcoming corporate design standards to include complementary pattern libraries and navigation systems
- Advocating for design thinking to build more customer-centric products and drive revenue
- Executing alongside a fast-paced, ever-evolving roadmap
- Strategically curate a cohesive product experience to exceed user expectations by:
- Partnering with the broader Product Communication team to develop marketing collateral, sales materials, and support documentation that aligns with targeted personas
- Acting as a go-to resource for product experience best practices and design standard adherence
