TouchNet, a leading provider of payment and credentialing solutions in the Higher Education space, is looking for a Product Manager to lead product strategy, definition and execution for one or more product solutions that impacts multiple product development teams and/or business functions.
As a Product Manager, you will take a hands-on role in the development of new products, evolving current products, and leading research for market trends and competitive solutions. You will also serve as a subject matter expert, working internally across departments to communicate product direction, educating team members on new features and functionality, as well as managing roadmaps and product launches.
The ideal candidate has experience in higher education with a focus on Student AR or Finance. Prior experience with technology products including micro-services, Restful APIs, Platform as a Service, cloud solutions, messaging, and other technologies necessary to create a world-class platform solution are also beneficial.
Responsibilities
Oversees the future strategy of TouchNet solutions, based on input from current clients, prospects, and various internal stakeholders.
Presents short term goals and long term strategy to the leadership team.
Works very closely with agile development teams to define acceptance criteria/requirements, ensuring solutions meet market expectations.
Manages a client feedback tool to ensure the voice of the customer is incorporated into the development process.
Prioritizes development items based on OKRs and company goals.
Collaborates with UX teams by validating mocks and early stage simulations.
Promote feature pack updates both internally and to the client base.
Post release review of product quality and adoption.
Works with sales operations, solution consultants, and product marketing to provide content for sales demonstration, webinars, and documentation.
Maintains a continuous feedback loop with existing clients through various outreach opportunities like a user conference and focus groups.
Requirements
Previous experience in higher education space is necessary
2 years of product or product management experience or product knowledge
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects
Customer focused; team player
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
BS/BA Degree
Occasional Travel
Experience with Agile software development process
Exposure to JIRA, Aha!, OKRs is a plus

The US base salary for this full-time position is $85,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
