The opportunity
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who is passionate about helping businesses reduce their environmental impact. You will engage with businesses across the country and in all sectors, motivating and inspiring them to take full advantage of our energy and net zero services and technologies that will help them succeed in their energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reduction strategies. What is the job about?
As a Business Development Manager, you'll identify new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability, and help the business grow. Your roles involve careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, and/or enhancing the operation of the business, position, or reputation in some way.
You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and creating strong relationships with clients.
What will you do?
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

Create development plans and forecast sales targets and growth projections.

Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.

Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives.

Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels.

Meeting existing and potential clients and building long term positive relationships.

Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences.

Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services including new ways of reaching existing markets.

Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.

Understand the needs of your customers and maintain up-to-date knowledge and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.

Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department based on customer/client views.

Keep well-informed of trends and changes in services and products.

Input and plan sales campaigns.

Create a sales pipeline.

Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to stakeholders.

Develop and input the business sales strategy.

Maintain a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.

Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support through the development of ongoing client relationships beyond the initial sale to ensure the delivery of the client commitments.
What we are looking for
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
- Experience or passion working with green energy or net zero concepts.
- Experience in selling B2B technology.
- Think strategically; seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.

Whats in it for you?
- Salary: $60,000-80,000, commensurate to experience, plus uncapped commission
- Hours: Monday Friday (9:00am-5:00pm)
