ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As the Associate Director, Channel/Marketing Programs you will be a key-member of the marketing team, directly contributing to the growth of our business by expanding the value of one of our primary lines of business. Your responsibilities will encompass both recruitment efforts to bring in new partners and enablement efforts to increase the value of existing partnerships. This role will design, implement, and own the marketing plan to support our channel business by partnering closely with the Channel Sales Leader. The marketing plan will cover a mix of demand generation and enablement efforts including events/tradeshows/conferences, digital, email, social media, collateral, presentations, etc. The ideal candidate is a driven marketing professional with previous experience partnering with sales to enable growth.
We are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, has strong attention to detail, and superior organizational skills. This role requires a balance of proactive energy to recognize and act upon opportunities for growth without sacrificing open-minded receptiveness to ideas and requests of counterparts with the same goal in mind. This is a senior-level role that reports to the VP of Marketing and is ideal for the individual who combines a strategic mindset, refined people-management skills, and a strong work ethic to do plenty of hands-on work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, implement, and own the marketing plan to drive leads for the channel business and maximize productivity of existing partnerships by collaborating closely with the Channel Sales Leader
  • Design the strategy and tactics to meet these goals with the appropriate marketing mix such as events/tradeshows, digital, email and nurture, social media, web, PR, collateral, etc.
  • Partner with the functional areas of Marketing such as Communications, Digital and Content as well as the Channel Sales team to execute Channel Marketing plan
    • This includes, but is not limited to: marketing collateral, sales presentations, web properties, digital recruitment tactics, recruitment and engagement email communication, webinars, enablement and training activity, and partner testimonials
  • Understands and defines customer segments for B2B2C market, create target personae (with persona-based messaging) and develop buyer’s journey for online and offline touch points (digital vs live events) from awareness to consideration to purchase to advocacy
  • Establish, track, and report quantitative performance metrics
  • Think and act proactively to recognize and act upon opportunities for growth while also balancing receptiveness to requests and recommendations of counterparts
  • Own event strategy and execution of tradeshows & conferences both domestically and internationally
  • Participates in various marketing-related projects and activities as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • 7 years of progressive leadership experience in Channel/Marketing Programs
  • Experienced leader in developing and executing integrated marketing plans
  • Experience in creating personalized digital program such as nurture campaigns, social media, influencer marketing
  • Enthusiastic, positive, leader that encourages a collaborative approach with the right measure of assertiveness and diplomacy who can troubleshoot and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional business acumen with the ability to understand the commercial, operational and financial priorities of the business and align marketing initiatives and activities
  • Proven ability to drive results and manage change in a dynamic environment by setting high standards and holding people accountable for performance
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and attention to detail, organizational skills who works collaboratively to manage and balance a variety of projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong initiative and follow through
