Summary: The main function of a policy processing clerk is to draft policies and take them through to closing. Job Responsibilities: Gather information and take each file from sale to closing. Verify insurance documents including income credit appraisal. Collect required documentation, review file documentation, and make sure all items needed are requested. Ensure that all policy documentation is complete, accurate, and complies with company policy. Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and other documents for recurring internal reports. Act as a liaison between the policy holder and insurance agent. Contact and communicate with clients by telephone, e-mail, or in-person.
Responsibilities
- Process/submit employee timesheets
- Process employee vacations, in-services and holiday pay to ensure accurate payments
- Process and submit monthly Census Billing
- Audit billing and payroll before submission
- Run monthly Client Medicaid Eligibility
- Any other general administrative tasks, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in a data entry role
- Experience with payroll implementation
- Proficient computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Professional organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
