Global Staffing LLC is seeking a SAP Developer/Programmer that will be in close collaboration and coordination with the Business departments, SAP Development, SAP Basis, SAP Functional, SAP Training and Support teams, Network Engineers and Enterprise Architects.
NCDOT’s environment services over 6,000 users and includes instances of ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, Business Objects, CRM, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE and PI.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing, executing and supporting our corporate strategy for SAP development.
- Maintaining a sound production environment for development initiatives
- Participating in multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity is key.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with SAP BO including Lumira Server and Designer, multi-node BO landscapes and auditable change management.
- Experience with SAP BO including developer support, architectural guidance and system upgrades.
- Experience setting up the monitoring of BO servers.
- Experience setting up the auditing policies, and manage event and alerts related to CMS, Audit and Reporting Database services.
- Experience keeping availability of BO Web applications CMC, BI Launchpad, and other applications.
- Experience managing day to day scheduled report jobs from Instance Manager.
- Experience handling the support issues from developers.
- Experience monitoring the resources of Business Objects servers.
- Experience managing user and permissions.
- Experience managing Universe and Connections and other BI Repository objects.
- Experience connecting Business Objects to external data sources including REST, SOAP, SQLSvr, Oracle, DB2, and Sybase.
- In depth knowledge on debugging and trouble shooting skills on native HANA.
- Familiarity with SDLC/ Agile /scrum methodology.
- Experience in leading small teams.
- Willing to work with globally distributed teams across time zones
- The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, video, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Other details:
- The candidate will work remotely until all staff return to site. At that time the candidate will be expected to work full time onsite.
- The candidate will need to use his or her own computer until he or she starts working onsite.
- When the candidate is working full time on site he or she will be given NCDOT equipment.
- The max rate for this position is $150.00/hour.
