GSE seeks a Database Administrator to support our client, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. The position is located at Albuquerque, NM.

A day in the life (a general sampling of the things you may do in a given day):

• Analyze customer requirements and develops technical solutions to complex problems.
• May manage the development of database standards, policies, and SOPs and ensures their conformance with DTRA goals and customer objectives.
• Applies knowledge of API for data services and databases.
• Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs, and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation, and configuration management.
• Prepares system requirements, source analysis, and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation.

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience
• Federal government experience preferred
• Current and active SECRET security clearance
