What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at Global Technology Associates?
Please note this position requires 2 days onsite per week in Southfield (Tuesday and Wednesday) through 5/29/24.
Location: Southfield, MI (onsite two days per week)
As an Entry-Level Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and selecting top talent to meet our company's staffing needs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for human resources and talent acquisition to kick-start their career in recruitment.
Candidate Sourcing:
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including ZipRecruiter, Job Diva, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals, to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future staffing needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions in Job Diva. This includes making sure the candidate's profile is updated.
Candidate Screening:
- Review resumes and applications in Job Diva and ZipRecruiter to assess candidate qualifications.
- Confirm initial screening responses with candidates to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and availability.
Presenting and Submittals:
- Formatting Resume including fixing any spelling or punctuation errors as needed.
- Present and submit candidate profiles to the hiring manager/MSP or Account Manager. Highlight key qualifications and include additional details as required.
- Log all submittals, interviews, starts, and candidate rejections in Job Diva.
Candidate Engagement:
- Send follow-up reminders to Account Managers for candidate feedback/updates.
- Solicit feedback from hiring managers and candidates to identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process.
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the submittal process by checking and sending new job matches.
- Facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers during the offer stage.
- Work with and assist the Account Manager in negotiating salary and other employment terms.
Other Responsibilities:
- Attend networking events and participate in relevant job fairs to expand the candidate pool.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and bi-weekly meetings with the Director of Recruiting.
- Attend annual training as needed.
Must Haves:
- 1-2 years working in an administrative support position.
- HS Diploma or equivalent GED
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Tech-Savviness: comfortable using various recruitment tools and platforms, such as applicant tracking systems, social media, and online job boards
- Time Management Skills: Proven ability to prioritize job orders and submit candidates quickly.
