Job title: Finance Manager
Location: St Joseph, MO
Duration: Full-time/ On-site
Salary: $60,000 to $70, 000/ per year.
Hiring Managers note:
Previous experience within similar role, maybe on lower level. Experience in both team management as the successful candidate will need to build a new team as well as individual proficiency in management accounting and being responsible for meeting all our regulatory duties.
Purpose of the role:
Responsible for all accounting and financial tasks within the business. You will report directly to our Global Managing Director and be absolutely key in delivering the next part of our strategy. You will be a senior leadership voice across the business, supporting the existing leadership team in building culture, attitude and approach. You will pull apart our existing finance processes and build us a new infrastructure fit for our next phase of growth.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) would be an advantage
Some of the Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Complete state taxes
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Complete and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Support Internal and External audits
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Review and manage financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency
- Support US and global financial requirements, in collaboration with Global Finance team.
- Manage small Finance Team
