About the Role

We are looking for a TikTok Content Creator to join our marketing team. We are looking for someone who can help Glorify build a presence on TikTok primarily - but also support other platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest.

The ideal candidate for the TikTok Content Creator role is an avid TikTok user, passionate about creating unique video content focusing on storytelling, engagement, and audience growth. Candidates should have strong creative, storytelling, and video skills and knowledge of the social media and influencer space. This role is perfect for someone who has a genuine passion for TikTok, understands what goes into making compelling and engaging content, stays on top of TikTok and cultural trends, and is not afraid to try new and unexpected avenues.

As our TokTok Content Creator, you will be pivotal to our brand’s growth and your work will contribute to driving awareness and engagement with Glorify across our key social platforms. This video-first role will focus on creating native performance-driven, engaging content for TikTok and other key platforms.

You will be part of our English-speaking Marketing team and report to and work closely with our Social Media Manager on content plans and initiatives. This is a fast-paced role where you will need to be moving fast to hit deadlines, react to trends and hot topics and generate ideas for new content. You personally will be one of the faces of our company on TikTok! This role is a full-time position located in our offices in Los Angeles, USA

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end creation of performance-driven, engaging content for TikTok and other key platforms
  • Create video concepts, film original video assets and edit content - whether in the app or with support from design agency and tools
  • Work together with the Social Media Manager to understand strategy, performance and growth metrics, in order to create and adjust content for optimizing results
  • Contribute to the strategy, vision, and voice of the channel
  • Develop and maintain an ongoing content calendar for all social media platforms (TikTok, IG, FB, YT, TW, PT)
  • Act as one of the faces of our company on TikTok to storytell, promote content, drive brand awareness as well as follower growth and app conversion
  • Keep up to date with and leverage cultural and social trends, hot topics, best practices and innovations, such as (but not limited to) news, memes, Christian leaders, etc.
  • Measure and analyze performance
  • Utilise performance insights to meet key growth objectives
  • Establish evolving best practices
  • Identify and communicate with up-and-coming TikTok influencers and creators
  • Respond and engage in real-time to posts, questions, comments and monitor conversations
  • Participate in brainstorms and content ideation
  • Work with design agency and other stakeholders on creation of content, from brief to creation and publication
  • Collaborate with the wider team on campaign

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience working in social media and/or a significant experience creating content for TikTok
  • Strong track record of producing content for TikTok, Instagram and other social channels
  • Comfortable producing content natively and with tools like Adobe Premiere or other video editing software, Photoshop, Canva
  • High level understanding of video editing
  • Significant experience as a TikTok user
  • Deep understanding of TikTok's ecosystem (trends, hashtags, music usage, functionalities, guidelines, and platform updates)
  • Understand and able to report on TikTok KPIs
  • Able to create at least two TikTok videos and two Instagram Reels per day
  • Knowledgeable and up-to-date in social media trends and best practices
  • Proven experience creating content within brand aesthetics and identity

Desired experience

  • Portfolio demonstrating your ability to produce engaging content that gains traction and virality across a range of formats and platforms
  • Start-up experience
  • Experience in the wellness or tech industry
  • Understanding and/or willingness to get up to speed with the Christian language, tone and content styles needed to gain our target users’ attention
