What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Safety Representative position at GMS Corporation?
GMS is looking for a Regional Safety Manager to add to the team in the Bessemer AL area! To gain consideration applicants must meet the following requirements.
- At least 3 years of underground mining experience.
- Must have an exceptional safety record and outlook.
If selected the candidate will go underground on a regular basis to check on GMS employees. Time will be split 50/50 between the office and at the mine. The candidate chosen will conduct rescuer checks, task training and various other safety tasks for GMS employees. Travel to different mines in the Bessemer AL area will be required on a regular basis.
* Special consideration given to applicants who are a certified instructor.
