Master Scheduler - Job Shop

The GNB Corporation has an immediate need for a Job Shop Master Scheduler. GNB is a highly technical engineering and manufacturing organization specializing in innovative products for the airless environmental (vacuum) industry. We make products for testing mini-satellites, space simulation, physics research and numerous other applications such as proton and neutron cancer therapy.

Job requirements:

· Self-starting individual with a sense of urgency

· Enthusiasm, professionalism and high energy are a must

· Experience in production planning for a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing organization

· Ability to plan, lead and direct the workflow in a manufacturing organization

· Skilled at developing systems from scratch using creativity and best practices

· Must be a thought-leader and change agent

· Outstanding team player/leader

· Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience with SAP Business 1 a plus

Trained in lean manufacturing a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

· College degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics or operations research;

· 7 years of relevant work experience in Master Scheduling and Inventory Control in an engineer-to-order, long lead time product manufacturing environment;

· Experience working in a low volume and high mix job shop manufacturing facility including machine shop, fabrication and/or welding work centers;

· Change Agent – skill with enabling change, strong influencing abilities particularly with client groups and frontline teams;

· Experience implementing Advance Planning Systems from business case to deployment;

· Certification: APICS (CPIM or CSCP) or other documented continued education in supply chain and materials management;

· Must be authorized to work in the US.

Must be capable to lift and move 25lbs, to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and walk throughout the day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 per year
