SUPERVISOR TITLE: Operations Supervisor
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt BAND: A SHIFT: 12 Hour Rotating GENERAL FUNCTION – State the intent and objective of the position.
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, assisted by the Shift Lead, the Mold Attendant I is responsible
for the inspection, packaging, and handling of product coming from their assigned machines. This includes identifying and separating defects, ensuring packaging is erected and that the product is packed according to work instructions or other documentation. They are also responsible for 5S of the production floor and production documentation as required.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES – Indicate the main duties and responsibilities of the position and estimate the percentage of total time spent on each. Only include duties that account for at least 10% of the total time.
These should be ranked by importance from most to least.

· Ensure safe work environment in plant
· Identify, eliminate, and/or communicate any unsafe conditions
· Complying to all PPE requirements
· Comply with all CertainTeed Siding and EHS Policies
· Maintain and improve cleanliness of assigned working areas
· Demonstrate active preventive engagement in EHS through performing STOP Observations and safety/environmental reporting
20% Quality
· Be able to understand and communicate what a good quality part is.
· Abide by all ISO 9001 and 14001 procedures
· Ensure that product packaging specification are followed
· Perform basic visual quality checks
60% Production
· Being able to detect burns, color streaks, short shots, gas marks and flash and communicate this to proper people
· Watch and notify appropriate personnel of any defects in parts. Also watch UPC, labels and boxes
· CIL (clean, inspect, lube) for accessory and collaborative robots.
· Grind bad parts in appropriate grinder.
· Knows and can recognize common materials
· Inspects, degates, trims, sorts, counts, weight, and packages parts.
· Be trained on appropriate work instructions to operate secondary equipment
· Can locate and comprehend work instructions to ensure proper boxes, labels, and pallet count
· Learn proper boxing techniques to insure parts are boxed properly
· Ensure that good parts are not placed in regrind
· Initials will be written or stamped on all boxes
